Students’ activities
2025

The Kashiwa Campus Science Camp was held (Mar 2025), and three undergraduate students visited our lab. They observed the Brownian motion of particles and the movement of motor proteins using a microscope.

Our lab’s student joined the 70th Condensed Matter Physics Summer School, held near Lake Biwa (Aug 2025). You can see what it was like at the post below (X).

Our students participated in The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society of Japan, held in Nara (Sep 2025). They gave oral presentations.
2024

In the 2024 ISSP Sports Festival (May 2024), we participated in health volleyball and achieved 2nd place out of 17 teams, collaborating with students from the Takagi Lab (ISSP) and Noguchi Lab (ISSP).

Dr. Hayashi provided a lecture at the 69th Condensed Matter Physics Summer School (Aug 2024), fostering connections with students from Japan.

At the Kashiwa Open House 2024, we organized a Python programming workshop using ChatGPT. Participants observed Brownian motion using a microscope and programmed simulations of the motion.

We attended the 12th Annual Meeting of Japan Micro-Nano Bubble Society Corporation, held at Meiji University, Tokyo. A second-year master’s student gave an oral presentation!
